Art Climb is a one-of-a-kind outdoor civic and art space, part of the Cincinnati Art Museum's ambitious plan to connect the city’s vibrant neighborhoods with its cultural heart. Spanning multiple flights of steps and landings, this engaging path stretches approximately 450 feet from the street level to the museum's parking lot. Along the way, you'll encounter stunning outdoor sculptures, including pieces from the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum’s collection, that transform your journey into a visual feast.

Art and Nature in Harmony

At Art Climb, the landscape itself becomes a canvas. Designed in collaboration with Emersion Design and Human Nature, the space retains the natural beauty of its surroundings while integrating contemporary art. As you ascend the steps, you'll be guided by thoughtfully incorporated lighting, leading you to a pavilion with breathtaking views of Cincinnati.

Sculptures that Inspire

Discover the artistic expressions of renowned sculptors such as Chakaia Booker, Barton Rubenstein, and Tony Rosenthal. Each installation offers a unique perspective, blending materials like reclaimed tires and stainless steel to evoke complex themes and emotions, from environmental impact to the essence of modernism.

While the hillside's steepness presents accessibility challenges, efforts are underway to ensure the top landing is ADA compliant. Art Climb and the art experiences are free to all, as is general admission to the Cincinnati Art Museum. Convenient parking is available in museum lots, legal street parking on Gilbert Avenue and Eden Park Drive, or garage parking near SpringHill Suites. The site is also accessible via Cincinnati Metro bus lines #4, #11, and #1.
