About the Business

Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame

Welcome to the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame, an engaging and family-friendly museum located at 190 West Mehring Way, Cincinnati, Ohio. Dive into the rich and vibrant history of Black music in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, and Southwest Ohio through our interactive musical experience. Produced by the legendary Bootsy Collins, our tribute song sets the stage for a journey that celebrates the profound impact of Black musicians, songwriters, and industry professionals from this region.

Explore how these talented artists have influenced genres such as funk, jazz, pop, gospel, hip-hop, classical, R&B, and rock, leaving an indelible mark on the global music scene. Our immersive technology connects this storied legacy to the future, inviting you to listen, learn, dance, sing, and feel the energy and soul of these extraordinary artists.

As you stroll through Cincy’s music scene, look out for QR codes on our informational kiosks. Scanning them will unlock deeper insights into each artist’s history and legacy, along with an augmented reality experience that brings their work to life. On the top level of the park, our interactive exhibits allow you to capture, save, and share videos of yourself dancing to iconic Cincinnati tunes or performing on stage with your favorite inductees.

This multi-layered attraction is open to the public and designed to be accessible for all to enjoy. We are currently accepting nominations for future inductees—submit your nomination today and be part of this inspiring celebration of musical excellence.

Congratulations to our founding members, Bootsy Collins, Otis Williams, Dr. Charles Fold, and the Isley Brothers, whose brilliance exemplifies the inspiration that abounds here. Join us at the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame and be inspired by the legacy and future of Black music.
