About the Business

Camp Wildbrook

Welcome to Camp Wildbrook, a cherished summer tradition located at 9664 Daly Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 1952 by former schoolteachers Bob and Flo Kraushar, Camp Wildbrook has been a beloved destination for generations of families seeking fun and enriching summer experiences for their children.

Our 2024 season is already off to an amazing start, filled with sun-soaked adventures and exciting activities. From nature exploration and camping to swimming, crafts, and drama, our campers enjoy a diverse range of programs that foster growth, creativity, and lifelong friendships. Traditional favorites like weekly Popsicle days and group field trips continue to delight campers of all ages.

Camp Wildbrook is not just a camp—it's a community. Many of our counselors are former campers themselves, dedicated to providing an unforgettable experience for the next generation. We take pride in the legacy of excellence and family involvement, with the Kraushar family playing a pivotal role in the camp's operations for decades. Gayle Kraushar, along with her siblings and extended family, ensures that the essence of Camp Wildbrook is preserved and enhanced year after year.

Current camper families can access information about our annual Parents’ Day on the Camper Forms tab. Keep an eye out for details regarding early registration for our 2025 season coming home soon. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call our camp office.

At Camp Wildbrook, we are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment, which is why we only use staff photos electronically to protect camper privacy. Join us in making memories that will last a lifetime—where the spirit of adventure and the warmth of tradition come together to create a truly unique summer camp experience.

"My two girls just finished the summer in 'girls 1' for students who will be first grade this fall. Both girls are very different and BOTH had a great experience. I was so happy for them. The songs and hobbies and team games have stuck with the girls and we now play a silly dance game "Little Sally Walker" they picked up when we have a free 2 minutes. Dancing, sports practice, swimming, teamwork, leadership. Sign up as soon as you can. Wildbrook takes inquiries throughout the year for new campers. It is very easy and low financial commitment to join the waitlist. Full days for the bulk of summer. 8:40-4-10 with bus pickup. It's nice to have a non-patchwork of steady predictable outdoors friendly safe fun that is predictable enough for the kids to feel safe a ready to challenge themselves. Old style traditional camp chorhort groups that grow up and move to next level together. Large families send kids of different ages very successfully. Safe way to experiment with 'grit' and social skills."

"Best camp ever. They take special care in helping the kids grow and learn by exposing them to so many wonderful outdoor activities. I can't say enough about the counselors and camp owner."

"I have not visited Camp Wildbrook, but I have driven down the back road that it's located right off of. I guess having a traffic back up in this area is what caused it to show up as a place I have frequented, but that's not so. On first sight, the camp looks appealing. What I did notice is it's a large area with basketball and tennis courts. It seems to be very secluded. I'm not sure that you could really see in there if the trees were in full bloom. The road to get down in there seems to be very steep, therefore there's a significant incline. There's other things located in this area, I'm just not sure what they are. The closest neighborhoods to this area is the most Eastern part of Mt. Healthy and the most Western part of Finneytown. It is not a walkable area. The road is a winding road with very little light at night. Watch for deer and wildlife in this area."
