"This is a small neighborhood park but it's perfect for a family or group outing. It's in the city's Northside neighborhood which often hosts community events here. They have play equipment, a shelter and benches. This park also has an AARP-sponsored fitness area with adult exercise equipment. I give it a 4-star rating instead of 5 because they have no public restrooms. If necessary, I suppose you could use a restroom in nearby restaurants, businesses, or entertainment venues."

"Adorable little park in the heart of Northside... Beautiful little Christmas display and a perfect eclectic little city.. every time I get to be in the north side I find another hidden gem.. "#jacobhoffnerpark is a small city park in the area of Cincinnati known as Northside. Due to the covid-19 pandemic the big swing as my almost 4 year old grandson refers to it has been taken down. When up it can hold anyone from a small child to an adult. The one jungle jim structure is currently blocked off with yellow tape. There is also a second swing set with 2 swings for very little kids that are currently removed. The jungle jim has a tall fast curvey slide & several racing style slides for younger children. Monkey bars connect to the main structure for more fun. The structure is surrounded by what I call bouncy ground to lesson the impact of a fall like my grandson took several years ago. Across from the jungle jim are several benches shaded by trees. There is a tree lined sidewalk encircling the medium sized lawn. It is perfect for running, throwing a frisbee, picnicking or just lying in the grass. People like hanging out around the small shelter near the Hamilton Avenue side of the park. I've seen families having events here. This park is the summertime & fall home of the #northsidefarmersmarket and the home of the fun Northside Fourth of July Rock & Roll festival. There is a great AARP fitness area allowing people of all ages to workout in the back part of the park near Hoffner Street. Also on Hoffner at Hamilton Avenue is one of Cincinnati's bike stations. The park is attractively landscaped with a lot of park benches. This park is the first place my grandson wants to go to when he comes over to my house.
