Welcome to Werk Road Property, a serene 22-acre park located at 2918 Werk Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. Nestled on the historic site of the former Gamble estate, our park offers a tranquil escape from the bustling outside world. With its lush tree canopy and charming walnut grove, it's the perfect spot to unwind and connect with nature.
Our park is open daily from dawn to dusk, inviting guests to explore its natural beauty along our mowed walking paths. While we currently do not permit bicycles, we warmly welcome dogs on a 6-foot leash. Please note that there are no bathroom facilities or on-site parking available at this time.
For those using public transit, the park is conveniently accessible via Metro routes:
- Route 6: A 10-minute walk from Queen City Ave and Ferguson Road
- Route 21: A 7-minute walk from Harrison Ave and Werk Road
- Route 51: A 16-minute walk from Montana Ave and Epworth Ave
In collaboration with the Westwood community and Hamilton County residents, Great Parks has crafted a master plan for Werk Road Property. This visionary plan, approved in October 2023, aligns with neighborhood interests and aims to transform the park into a cherished community asset. The planning process included valuable input from local organizations and community leaders, ensuring that the park meets the needs and desires of its visitors.
As we embark on this exciting journey, Great Parks is committed to developing a timeline and funding strategy to bring the community's vision to life. We look forward to working alongside our Westwood neighbors to enhance this beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.
