"I remember going to cyc probably about 5 years ago or so & completely humiliated by Erin & Jacob Kollman & accused of selling drugs on campus & got kicked out. They called my mom & demanded her to come get me or they were calling the cops. I remember crying & feeling so alone & everyone talking about me & saying I’m poor & ghetto. I also remember when I was like 8 or 9 & being in hills kids & wanting to be apart of the music group & was told I could but then they decided not to let me & would just always be weirdly passive about things. My grandma volunteered every Sunday & always help out for years until she got some of the same treatment."
"I came to the Lord in this church, and it was actually by mistake, my daughter wanted me to take her to her Dads church and there was a miscommunication. I didn't even believe in Jesus Christ since I was a teen, I thought it was a myth. This definitely wasn't my preconceived notion of church. I'm sure I would like different methods better, especially if ancient worship made a comeback, but don't have an opinion or believe one bad review about this church until you go, you will find If you're seeking or just open... I didn't even know I was seeking, I consider all things though. yeah the methods and sheer size of it can raise the question of skepticism to ppl with religious background. I am and was vehemently against religion and had definitely had given up on the idea of knowing my "higher power" through church, but this is the way to go. This is an Evangelical, non denominational church. Pretty sure this is the best way to start if you're unable to understand the Bible for yourself. Previous skeptic, born again believer. Without him we are nothing, in Him are all things. Preaches the truth, fluid in method."
