Hertz Car Rental - Mentor Mentor Avenue HLE

"Had a reservation for pick up at noon. Got here at 11:45 and no one was in the office. It has been a hour and yet no one is here. Where are their employees? Where is the customer service? This is not good service at all"

"We needed a new rental and Barbara went above and beyond to provide amazing customer service to us. She stayed past closing to make sure we wouldn’t be stranded over the weekend and she was so kind and helpful. She even found out the cost of replacing the rental for me ahead of time, so that I wouldn’t be surprised on arrival. She is such a kind and amazing person and a stellar employee!"

"We arrived to pick up our rental at 5:55 pm when they close at 6 pm. We were delayed due to unavoidable circumstances and we’re concerned about arriving at closing time. To our surprise we were greeted by Barbara who was more than happy to help. She was pleasant and personable and not bothered at all by our late arrival! We received a beautiful clean car. Would highly recommend this hertz and ask for Barbara! She has great customer service skills! Will definitely rent from them again! Thank you Barbara for the great service!"

"Overall, not a good experience with this Hertz location and I have been renting from Hertz for over 20 years. No masks being worn by employees during a global pandemic. I wore one on pick up and drop off and still felt uncomfortable at this location.When the vehicle was brought to me I did not get any sense that COVID-19 precautions were taken into consideration. First car I received smelled like a smoker and when I got home noticed a piece of plastic hanging from the front (see picture). Since this location closed at 4 I had to do an exchange at Hopkins Airport (about a 40 minute drive each way for me). You will not feel like a valued customer at this location."
