"PLEASE READ Update again: The owner will harass you if you leave any type of feedback. Update: 2/22/24. I miss spoke and I was charge 22.23. I over estimated by $7.77. The owner demanded I adjust the review to state that. My car fax report states my tires weren’t rotated. The owner Kevin stated that he contacted them but haven’t heard back. I had this car for 4 years and never had this issue. It’s funny that my oil change registered but not the tire rotation. Kevin’s tone from original email started off very friendly ,but didn’t end that way. I want to make it very clear that I NEVER ask for a refund. They did provide a service. I will just stick to the dealership were I can address my concerns without attitude. I changed my 3 stars to 1. Be careful when you use a Groupon. You will have to pay an additional 30 dollars for a filter. They also said the Groupon included a tire rotation. That was never done when my car was service and they didn’t check or add fluids( windshield) like they stated. Overall decent service but I won’t be back."

"The owner, Kevin, should probably not be allowed to have a repair shop. Our experience there was horrific, and after being extorted, and threatened, we literally had to have the vehicle towed out of universal tire and auto, to another shop. As one other garage owner stated, as we'd called around to find a shop to tow to, " oh yeah, we know all about that guy. He's the kind of shop that gives the rest of us a bad name". Anyway, after nearly 3 weeks in his shop, and after NOT testing the fuel sensor, which when I brought it to him, I made it crystal clear that I wanted it checked FIRST, HE DID NOT, BUT PROCEEDED TO TEAR MY ENGINE APART, REPLACED AND DID THINGS NOT NECESSARY, AND RHEN, WHEN I ASKED HIM TO REPORT THE FINDINGS TO MY WARRANTY COMPANY, HE SAID " since you sent me an email, asking me to stop working up diags, and replacing things, I will not speak to your warranty company, and share with them what I've found. However, if you want to lift your halt on more tests and repairs, I'll be glad to call them"... What a crook. Bullying, and threatening, and essentially, gauging the insurance company for anything he could, without actually solving the problem... interesting, that the new garage ran their test, and the first thing they found, was a bad fuel sensor, which was my initial request, and complaint. I won't go on, because I could, but the ignition switch they said needed to be replaced, which they said they did, has failed, now.... after 4 months of driving.... STAY AWAY FROM UNIVERSAL TIRE AND AUTO. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED."
