"After many great experiences here, I’ve had a hard time wanting to return after experiences with Donna at the Pro Desk. After reading several other reviews, it seems to be a reoccurring theme (I thought it was maybe just me). She is very discourteous towards veterans using the Lowe’s discount. I’ve gone through her line couple times over the past year, every time she either doesn’t want to look up the military discount, or she finds a way to make you feel very uncomfortable for being a vet using it. Her comments can be very off putting. I’ve made a point to avoid her line or go to Ashtabula Lowe’s where the employees are super friendly (even called to wish my family a happy holiday last year, unexpected but very appreciated). Hopefully, the Pro Desk improves at Mentor down the road!"

"All I can say is you need 100 more Richie Soo-Hons! My entire family continuously visits this store for major purchases simply because of him. Extremely knowledgeable, kind, and real. Everyone in customer service industries could take a huge queue from this gentleman."

"Very disappointing. I knew what I need to get and checking out... and hate having someone behind me watching every move I make... I respect your store and always pay for items I needed... I was being stared at while I was checking out that seems annoying cause I thought there's was something wrong with me.... like one lady with the self check out was way to close to me that like I was a teenager that I am 50 yrs old!"

"Prices are higher than other comparable stores. Generally they have more unique items. I’ve never been able to get help with window treatments or lawn and garden. The rest of the store has never lacked helpful people. Generally employees are helpful and professional"

"Placed an order for a gas grill and propane tank that were supposed to be ready for pick up on Friday 9/22. They weren't ready until Tuesday 9/26. I did ask for grill assembly to be done, so that's fair that it took a couple of days but when I got there on Tuesday for curbside pickup, I checked in on the Lowe's app. After waiting 20 minutes, I had to go inside because nobody brought my order out. I take the grill out to my truck and a lady followed behind me with the propane tank (I do appreciate her offering to bring that out so I could take the grill), but when she handed it to me, I noticed the propane tank felt too light. I even made a comment to her that it feels awfully light and to make sure it's full. She assured me that it's a new tank and filled. I should have demanded a new one, but I was already out of patience so I took it and left. Of course, I get home, try to fire up the new grill, and it's empty. Very frustrating that nobody else noticed how light it was and I was told I was wrong when I made a comment that it didn't seem full."
