"I cancelled my membership with this gym and they continued to charge me. The manager is RUDE. Manager incorrectly insisted that I must make an appointment and fill out a form in person - and since I was working a regular shift, this was impossible - plus she never answers the phone or returns calls. It's illegal to require anyone to fill out a form in person to cancel a membership - there is a federal law for just this reason. It is just a tactic to make it so hard for you to cancel that you give up. The manager refused to follow federal law. After many arguments, she emailed me the form which I immediately returned via email. She stated she would not process the cancellation and that I would continue to be charged. I had to block it at the bank where I learned that Anytime Fitness is notorious for this illegal behavior. I called the corporate HQ multiple times and they stated they can't do anything because she's a "franchise owner." Now it is on my credit report in collections. I will now be disputing this on my credit report and filing complaints with CFPB and BBB, and leaving the lowest possible review on every platform I can find. if this has happened to you, I encourage you to switch gyms immediately to Planet Fitness in Portage. It is ten times nicer, half as much cost, and allows you to cancel anytime."

"Super nice, clean and chill location! Great place to work out and shower! My husband and I travel all over the US and this is one of the nicenst and cleanest Anytimes we have been to. I also heard the staff being super nice and helpful to other patrons. Wish they were all as nice as this location!"
