"I brought my tablet in for them to check it out and they said they would fix it, they charged me $100 but in the end they said they couldn't fix it then. Oh, they charged me $43.60 to diagnose it and I didn't want them to diagnose it. I thought they would fix it. So that's why I'm leaving them one star, because the service was terrible, they just shouldn't have charged me. I don't bring my tablet for a diagnosis, I brought it in to get it fixed and they said they would fix it. terrible service. And the receipt also says that they sold me something, they didn't sell me anything. Be careful when you bring your items here make sure they fix it or ask first, because they still charge you for something they shouldn't."

"Terrible. They refused to comply with a curbside order. They said that they discontinued curbside service, but it is still an option on the website. I'm a terminally ill disabled vet suffering from ALS. They were smug, unapologetic, and lack an important human trait, empathy. As I entered the store in a power chair, I struggled with the door, the two employees at the counter didn't lift a finger to help with the door. I even had to ask for help with the door when I left. Don't go to the Homewood store, go to the Schererville store, they know how to treat customers and disabled customers. In three years since diagnosis, every store, venue, event, etc has been more than accommodating, except for two stores and Homewood Batteries Plus is one of them"

"I initially bought my battery online to be installed at Tinley Park, but when I arrived, they ended up not having it. So the employee called the Homewood location & I drove there for the battery since they had it in stock. There were two men working at the time, They were both very nice, and they were ready right away when I arrived. The one who installed my battery (I didn’t catch his name) was wearing clear glasses, so I want to give a special thank you to him for installing it quickly and without any problems. I was afraid at first because I had to pay an extra fee for a “difficult” battery installation on my car, but he was able to install it correctly and I’m not having any problems so far. Both employees working at the time (01/17/24 @ 9:30am) were very nice though so thank you both for making this a relatively simple process!"

"Excellent customer service!!! DeMarco took care of us, he got us in and out in a few minutes with my new car remote control already installed. This guy is the best!!! He is very knowledgeable. The rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful as well. I extremely recommend this location."
