Our Services

Our 911 Emergency Communication Center is the backbone of emergency response in Ware County. Emergency Management

The Ware County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) plays a crucial role in disaster coordination and readiness. We conduct exercises, inform city and county officials about potential threats, and collaborate with state officials and the GEMA/HS agency to maintain preparedness. Our goal is to keep the community informed and ensure leadership continuity in times of crisis.

Emergency Medical Services

Ware Emergency Medical Services is the first line of response for medical emergencies. We provide pre-hospital care and transport, respond to mutual aid requests, and manage all aspects of EMS operations, including staffing, equipment procurement, and compliance with state regulations.

Fire and Public Safety Training

Under the leadership of our dedicated Fire Chief, Ware County Fire Rescue is committed to delivering exceptional fire protection services. The James E. Blackburn Sr. Public Safety Training Center offers comprehensive training in law enforcement, fire suppression, and various public safety skills, including active shooter and firearms safety classes.
