"The room was beautiful and very clean but considering the price for the one night stay our breakfast was very disappointing. No selection was given or other options offered. Very skimpy and tasteless all together. I don’t understand other reviews stating that their breakfast was good. I believe our service was completely forgotten all together. No help was even offered with our luggage, we left immediately to have breakfast in town."

It's right in the heart of everything, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in the historic district. Plus, it's just a short bike ride away from the beach and state park. Lisa and Ron were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. "Our sixth stay at the historic Addison with Ron and Lisa and their great staff. And our third Thanksgiving Day celebration dinner at the Addison, which has become an annual event that we look forward to. No reason to go anywhere else or stay at home and cook when their feast is always unforgettable. It's a great B&B, always warm and welcoming for guests new and old, and ideally situated for short walks to all the attractions in Fernandina Beach's old town district. The icing on the cake that this B&B provides is the chance to make new friends and meet engaging new acquaintances, with several of whom we've remained in touch. We enjoy celebrating our birthdays and anniversaries at the Addison whenever possible - no better place to be for homey comfort and great home cooked breakfasts."
