Baymont by Wyndham Waycross

"This is an older property that needs some TLC, but at least it was a quiet and clean place with lots of outlets in the room. Breakfast was not that satisfying; there were only waffles and oatmeal as an option. The room had some cosmetic issues as well, but nothing I couldn't live with for a one-night stay to get off the road. Just know up front that this isn't the Ritz! There were quite a few food options that are very close and there is a CVS right across the street, which turned out to be a life-saver for me!"

"I love this hotel. The staff are so nice and welcoming. From the front desk to the housekeeping they are all very forthcoming. Sometimes that' is what makes all the difference when staying at a hotel. On top of them being affordable. I recommend this hotel if you will be needing a hotel in Waycross. Thanks baymont!"

"it’s very unfortunate that i have to leave this review. this hotel really needs a major update and new people to clean it!!! the front desk lady was nice but other than that i have nothing great to say about this place.. the room smelled old, it was very dusty, the sheets and towels weren’t white anymore and did not have a clean washed smell at all!!! we had to wipe down the headboard and furniture with cleaning supplies we went and purchased ourselves. the bathroom was like a gas station bathroom not mopped or clean around the floor of the toilet which was unbelievable!!! the hair dryer and iron looked like they have never been wiped down or cleaned at all! to the point we went to walmart and purchased our own.. even with the towels that they gave us upon request were yellowish and had debris on them!!! it’s a shame that wyndham hotels name is attached to this!!! i will be contacting them again for comepensation of refund at least half… this is very unfortunate… even other family of ours refused to use this hotel before we even knew about it.."

"The in between of things need serious cleaning, the vanity counter is really low, the bathroom and sink fixtures are old and hard worn, the water pressure was disappointing, the interior wall was all beat up. The king sized bed had small miniature pillows. The staff was great, the breakfast was alright, just left feeling it was all a bit odd. Needs investment. The rate was good I think for the amenities. The repair of the walls and the detail of cleanliness is a major area of opportunity."

"Very disappointed with my stay. The room was nice for the few hours I stayed. The staff does not care about noise complaints or other guests that are smoking weed outside of the rooms. I was called a liar by a staff member about the noise and smell. I was still charged full price for the night even though I only stayed until about 1230 am before having to find another place to stay due to the inability to sleep. I didn't feel safe staying here as a solo female traveler."
