"A parking lot with an overnight option. We stayed tor 1 night. Pretty beach and harbor within a stones throw of where you park. Some highway noise, and lots of parking lot traffic as folks make their way to see the sunrise/sunset, surf, and enjoy other activities. The vibe is relaxed with just a bit of lock-your-door creepiness, if that makes any sense at all. The local parking enforcement are borderline tyrannical. An agent was out taking pictures of parked RVs and checking for proper overnight parking passes, and was about to give us a ticket for not reading and completely understanding the multitude of rules that are spread across several weathered signs. The dude seemed genuinely irked at our polite ignorance. Anyway we threw more $$ at the problem (in the form of basically paying a second time) and he calmed down. I imagine that sort of authoritative badge-swinging is important when it’s busy here, and everyone and their mother have come here for a summer weekend. But it was cold and rainy when we visited and there was almost no one here. Calm yourself, fella. Anyway it’s pretty, but I for one didn’t feel all that welcome. I was happy to leave."
