"Hours posted today were: 8am to Sunset Nice, soft sandy beach with small crowds (in May). Water is cool to cold and has a yellowish/greenish foam. Plenty of Pelicans. Plenty of breezy winds. Probably too many small sand flies. No showers or restrooms. Parking is about 28 spaces. So not huge. Beach is super easy walk from lot."

"This is a medium sized parking area right next to Monterey bay. Overall, it looks like it could definitely be cleaner and better managed. There are two porta potties available and you can walk directly down to the beach, stepping over some trash…of course. There’s a metal gate that supposedly closes at 9PM so you’ll probably get locked in until the morning afterwards. Fires and camping are, according to the posted signs, not allowed but I definitely saw clear evidence of both. Dogs on a leash are okay. Could it be better? Sure, but I still rate it five stars, because public access places are becoming harder and harder to find."

"Seaside Beach is a great beach with good access. Clean with interesting beachcombing. It can get very windy here at times, but it is beautiful."

"Didn’t stay long as the hurricane like storms were at it’s worst. Beautiful how immense and ferocious the ocean was."

"As of 1/12/2021 the 1st hour is free, nice place to park just to enjoy the view and eat lunch. I did some beach walking and shopping, I was parked there for 2 hours and it only cost 4$. Beautiful views, open and evenly paved, landscaped and super close to the wharf. It's a better and cheaper option than the alternative metered spots nearby. I was able to see my vehicle from the wharf between shops. The lot is clean, and well kept. Paths down to the marina and to the beach as well as the wharf, paved and unpaved. There are trash cans throughout and many benches nearby . Easy ♿ & wheelchair access from lot to wharf or shops. Not a ton of marked handicapped spaces but easy access for handicapped to get to any of the parking spaces anywhere in the lot. You just self pay/park by pulling a ticket from an automated lift-gate and pull past as it opens. When you want to leave you can take the timestamp ticket to a kiosk (several paystations available) they accept cards, cash, even coins. I read signs that indicated you could pay using an app as well but I didn't try that method."
