"I wish I took my mini Cooper to my Auto before I burnt out the number four cylinder valve. Instead, I took my mini Cooper to Salinas auto shop that claimed to have BMW expertise two years ago when I started getting an error message about a #4 cylinder misfire and he cleared it and gave the car tuneup said I was all set. Then I came back when it happened again. He cleared it and said I had a problem in the turbo that couldn’t be fixed or that wasn’t worth fixing and to just drive it like it was, when the car finally broke down, I took it to my Auto and then I found out I needed a new engine and I came to understand that when the original cylinder misfire error message occurred two years ago It was due to the timing chain starting to become loose. If I had fixed the timing chain issue back then I might’ve saved my engine. Hind sight being 20/20 I won’t name the other mechanic but I won’t be going anywhere else again. I’ve had 2 other cars brake down this same month (bad luck) and had them towed to My Auto, and not only are they the fast, they also have the best prices. I highly recommend them."

"Terrible place, the owner will try his best to rip you off, I was charged $83 dollars for a failed smog. My car was recently at the shop and the car wasn't ready to be smogged yet, I was told to drive to castroville back and do another test and if it failed again he would charge me another $83 Dollars for a failed smog."

"Went to a smog station down the street and they said I needed a Star inspection for my 2006 Lexus. I called a couple of places in Monterey, but they couldn't get me in until the following week. Just a 5 minute drive away, My said "come on over." It was a quick no hassle inspection. He said he does all different kinds of work on most vehicles including some aftermarket installs. Highly recommend."
