"We were several thousand miles in our tour across the country when one of the spark plugs in our camper van went bad. It was very bad with continuous engine misfires and a strong gasoline smell. We knew enough about cars to know it was a spark plug but the condition seemed to be unusual as it was very sudden. We pull over right away to a town just south of where Mike's auto is located and diagnosed the bad spark plug on our own. We spent the Friday night trying to replace the coil and spark plug on our own to no avail. The next morning we started calling the repair shops around the town to get an estimate since we knew it was a spark plug with a bad thread and either they were extremely expensive or didn't know about the situation as they kept asking simple questions that didn't make sense at all. Then we called Mike and he picked up on the first call. Within seconds he understood what was wrong with the plug and said he had the appropriate tools to fix it, and that he was open until 9 PM. He also quoted us a much more fair repair fee than other shops around the town. Our specific car was a Ford 150, and it was extremely hard to reach the plug that had the issue. He did not try to upcharge us like any other mechanic would do so. He honored his original price even though he spent the entire day fixing the issue. Overall this might have been the best mechanic experience I've had. Mike is truly a guy that knows what he's doing and won't try to cheat you. Highly recommend him to anyone."

"My son is a student and CSUMB and we live in LA. His car broke down so we were looking for help in that area. I left a message for Mike's Auto early Saturday morning. They called me back quickly and said they would look at my son's car that morning . We had it towed, they called me back several hours later to provide a quote and indicated they would need to get a part from the dealer. I then received a call Sunday morning that the car was ready! Great service and honesty. I highly recommend!!!"
