"Bixby bridge Wow. Such a beautiful site. This bridge is a site to see. Marvelous design and spectacular engineering. Not as big as the Golden Gate bridge but just as beautiful. It gets very crowded here. Expect parking issues and possibly rude people. Completed in 1932 for just over $200,000, the concrete span, one of the highest bridges of its kind in the world. Highly recommended"

"The first time I visited I witnessed an incredible pinky sky during sunset which was in November and the second time I visited with family in June and it equally beautiful during the day. A stunning view of the unending waters and the architecture wonder of the bridge. Be careful though it’s very dangerous on the cliff side. Parking is available but limited and on a narrow road next to the bridge. Can get crowded so be prepared for that as well."

"Spectacular scenery and limited parking aren't an ideal combination. We couldn't get a spot while going south. We got lucky on the way back to Carmel in the unsealed carpark on the northern side of the bridge."
