It’s not just rice and beans, but rice and beans done right with unique additions and flavors added in. Would’ve liked more shrimp per order but the whole plate is a step, if not two, beyond typical flavors in this cuisine! Looking forward to trying more of their wide variety in the future."

"Great ambiance, but the food is very lacks flavor. Interestingly, at 2pm on a weekday there were no customers in the restaurant. Normally in DC a place would have a line or at least people sitting at the tables. This is Tex-Mex In no way is this authentic Spanish food (they don't claim to be). Bland meat and old rice. Mozzarella cheese is standard for fajitas? Meat has grissle and was cooked for all of about 3 minutes. Terribly bland but I taste lots of soy sauce. A couple of steps up from Taco Bell. I do not recommend. There are a number of places on the block less expensive and with way better food. Thanks for looking!"
