When I tried to address the issue he then became defensive, and turned the problem back to me. He tried to make me feel as if the problem was my fault! He made no attempt to fix it or take accountability of his wrong doings. I would not recommend him or trust him!"

She simply stopped replying to our inquiries in violation of her ethical guidelines as a Florida-licensed real estate agent. "I am a practicing attorney in Philadelphia. In the fall of 2017, I decided to exploring buying a condo in Florida. I found Ryan Gainer of Amerivest on the internet. We made arrangement for my wife to go down and look at some condos with him, which she did. She liked a particular development and we bid on one condo in the development but did not get it. I asked Ryan about another one in the development that was for sale, which he said was in good shape. We wound up buying it sight unseen as many northerners do. Ryan was our eyes and ears. He failed to tell us that this particular condo backed onto a very busy road. When I came down to close on the condo in December 2017, I was crestfallen as to the location. The other problem was that the inspection had revealed a broken shower pan that was a 5k repair. Had he told me how significant the repair was, I could have opted out of the property or gotten a concession from the seller. I did not learn about the cost of the repair until a few months after the sale. When I tried to contact Ryan about my concerns after I found out the cost of the repair, he would not respond to me. I then contacted his office at Amerivest Realty in Naples. They would do nothing to compensate me or even give me the name of their Errors and Omissions carrier. Very disappointed. Would not recommend."
