"Lousy answering service, they don’t pass on messages and the office staff don’t answer the phones…I was out of state last week and was coughing uncontrollably for a week to the point I couldn’t talk and had trouble breathing. I called at 8:00 Monday morning after arriving back in state Sunday evening and my calls were ignored after being told they would be passed on to the Dr and meds would be called in…that never happened. After another 2 calls later on that day still nothing..I ended up going to a walk in clinic where I was taken care of right away , treated and meds were called in immediately to my pharmacy..I finally received a phone call from the Drs office after 3 pm on Tuesday…Not A Happy Patient."

"I have been taking care of my husband for 6 years , as his cancer has progressed. Dr. Mercado is his new primary care physician. Yesterday at his appt. I had so many questions that I had made a list. Dr. Mercado Not only listened patiently, while I spoke, losing my place on the list frequently because I was hurrying trying to get all the questions out there to be answered. It is hard to find a Dr that will listen and then answer more than one question. This Dr. Went above and beyond for us. I felt like someone finally cared! I felt so relieved when we left because the things that were really worrying me about his care, were answered. He also went over his blood work, prescriptions and came up with solutions to some of his pain. I wasn’t sure if driving to Hudson from Spring Hill would continue to be a good idea but, now we have no intention of going anywhere else. Dr Mercado is one of the best Dr’s i have met during this trying time. I can’t say enough good about him and his office. The girls there are the nicest and always willing to solve any problems I have. Thanks Dr. Mercado! You listened….and We so appreciated it!"
