"I REALLY wanted to give a better review. Like others, I've had Jim 'N Nicks other than Pensacola, Niceville I believe and there it was AMAZING. Here in Pensacola, not so much. So I parked and walked towards the entrance only to find the line of people wrapped around the corner of the building, and in this heat(Aug), no thanks. So I went through the drive through and with only 2 cars ahead of me, the wait wasn't too bad(that's why the 2 stars on service). As you can see in the pictures, we had pulled pork sandwich and brisket. My wife thought the pork sandwich was okay, certainly not worth $10+ and the coleslaw was awful. My brisket was tasty but VERY rich and had FAR more fat than it should have had. Beef meat will come with fat, but the fat "around" the meat should be trimmed off. The one picture is most(not all) of the fat that I pulled off my brisket. The baked beans and potato salad were good and didn't even try the cheesy muffin. The portions(meat & sides) were abysmal, at least for the price. I really don't understand all the hype for this particular Jim 'N Nicks but to each their own. I have nothing against this restaurant or anyone that works there, this is just my review, the price of the food is WAY to high for the quality and quantity. Sorry, but I don't see a need to overpay again for the oft chance its better than the 1st time."

"Food was good. Ordered the combo plate of pulled pork, brisket and spareribs. Ribs were big but the other portions were a little small. Mac and cheese was good, corn was good. The cheese biscuits were very good. Pulled pork sandwich was dropped on the floor, got a new one but it came out very dry. Overall experience was good, do recommend."

"The food was pretty good. I think the biscuits were just okay though. We had barbecue ribs and brisket. My guest had a fried fish which I thought was actually very very good and then my mom had the loaded baked potato. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food. I can't give it a five-star rating because my mother is older and we really did not like that we could not sit down to order and we had to stand in a fairly long line before we got to the front and ordered. So they did end up finding a seat somewhere and I said in line for them but I don't like the fact that my mom didn't have anywhere to sit let alone any other elderly person that may come and we have to stay in the line to order first. I was not a fan of that at all. Other than that the waiters and waitresses were very friendly and helpful and the food was pretty good."

"Hands down my new BBQ place. The wait time was minimal, service top notch, food was amazing. You can tell it’s all from scratch. Just phenomenal. Becoming a habitual offender at this location. Baby back ribs- great, half chicken- delicious. And today it was the wings that were just amazing…. I’ll be back at 430 when they open back up for some more wings."

"You order your food at the counter and pay for it and then they will seat you and bring you your food. Food was good and everyone was very nice. I had the pulled pork plate with potato salad which was good and coleslaw also good but I prefer mine a little sweet and the cheddar corn muffins, one of my daughters had the same as me, but got the Mac and cheese and coleslaw, my husband and other daughter had the rib plate with BBQ corn on the cob and collard greens and they said it was good."
