"I have been going to Dr. Herbert for over 15 years. He is so old school. He is like a small town Dr. in the big city. He will never judge you. He referred me to the best pomunologist!! I’ll stay with Dr. Herbert wherever he goes!!!"

"Leaving an honest review as I would want this info before booking. Appt was fine, office was a bit old and gross but clean enough. I did a year end check up which was 100% covered by insurance as these appts usually are. Dr. Herbert was quick with me and it felt like a bit of a rushed appt then insisted on doing a quick blood test at the end which he said was “standard and would covered by my insurance”. Never got the results of that blood test and was charged $210 by my insurance. This is from over a year ago so can confirm they never came through. I think he takes advantages of patients and doesn’t really care that much. He knows that most people will not question the blood tests and it’s easy money he can bill the insurance on. Won’t go again. Probably should retire if this is how he practices at this point"

"Dr. Herbert has a lovely attitude, and his personality is congenial, charming and fun That said, I have never received my blood test results. Despite numerous follow ups, there has been no response from the doctor. I feel bad writing a 1 star review, but receiving my blood test results and being able to take action on them is important to my health and wellbeing. I now must undergo another physical with a different doctor in order to receive this information."

"I had a similar experience to a few others here on Zocdoc. Initially, the office had a good reputation, but when I visited, I was disappointed. The office was extremely dirty, and the smell of cigarettes and old lunch boxes was pervasive. I underwent several blood tests, for which I later received a bill. However, I never received any follow-up from Dr. Lawrence. Despite my attempts to reach out via email and phone calls, leaving messages, I have not received any callbacks. The email address he provided for availability seems to be inactive. This level of unprofessionalism is unbelievable, and I am still in the dark about the results of my blood tests."

"Had lots of blood tests taken for a pain condition and haven’t heard back since May. I have called the office regularly (and left messages) and emailed. Really odd. He seemed like a really awesome guy. Came for my physical and other stuff. Very nice and helped navigate insurance and billing codes as a doctor should. But I’m going to have to find a new doctor because Dr. Herbert ghosted me. Update. He called me 2 months later. He was nice but this left a bad taste in my mouth overall. Will be switching doctors. He said he would be on top of helping me figure out my health issue but lacked follow up, communication, and interest. But I will make it clear he was always polite when we spoke."
