"I’ve been going here my entire life, I’ve had lots of problems with my skin especially during puberty. But now my skin is clear thanks to the treatment. Thank you so much doc!"

"February 13,2024 Dr David J Altman This memo is to explain the circumstances occurring from the February 13 scheduled appointment and hopefully this letter may accentuate why my behavior was so abrupt. Dr. Altman, you have handled my dermatology concerns for several years. You were the first person I thought of when any issue flared concerning complexion anomalies. I have gained trust and confidence with your expertise. My concern is not competence but how do patients align their status with the office staff. In other words, how do the office staff and receptionist manage the pecking order. I arrived at your office in the morning at 9:AM for my appointment at 9:30. Paid the co-payment and sat patiently waiting to be told a room was available. An hour went by, and still my name was not called. I realize the time constraint is long considering your volume of patients, but what I witnessed puzzled me. Several people came in, addressed the front desk, sat down for maybe 5 or 10 minutes before being given an exam room. Even new patients appeared to be given preference. After about an hour and fifteen minutes I lost patience with the entire scheme and left. Mind you, I was halfway home when your receptionist phoned and asked me if I had seen Dr. Altman. Makes me wonder if she knew I was even there. I am a patient person who is willing to wait their turn but being ignored or forgotten initiates a whole different set of emotions. I try to avoid conflicts especially when augmented by poor managing. I would prefer to just walk away and take my business elsewhere. One characteristic I truly admire most is how professional people respect the job they perform. My tolerance for excuses seems to wear thin with age. Civility in life doesn’t seem so trivial anymore. Do the right thing and reimburse my co-payment. Thank you for taking the time to review the situation. I just happen to have another doctor’s appointment with an office governed more efficiently. Just for your enlightenment this was not AI generated. Best Regards,"

"I have been a patient there for years. I recently called with an urgent referral by my primary care physician. The condescending receptionist said that there was nothing they would do for me other than give their first available appointment in about two months. No one would even let the doctor know why I was calling to see if in his professional judgment I should be seen sooner. Very disappointing and I will not be going back. I would not recommend this practice."

"This was my second time coming here. My appointment was scheduled within the same week I called so they are very quick with getting me in. Upon arrival the receptionist checked me in quickly took my insurance/payment and was very friendly and professional. The waiting area was very clean and huge. There is a restroom to the side which was clean as well. I only waited for about 5 minutes before the nurse called me to the back room. She was equally as nice & friendly as the receptionist! Five minutes later the PR came in, I believe her name was Amanda. Very knowledgeable. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great dermatologist"

"Never seen Dr. Altman himself but I've seen the other doctors the work with him. I love it there, I once severely burned my face which led to sun poisoning and 2nd degree burns. My mom called there and the next day I had an appointment and gave me amazing cream and surprisingly do not have any scars on my face at all. I also have struggled with acne (teen hormones) and my face is pretty good, every time I go for a check up they ask if I like what I'm using most of the time I say yes but if there was a time I had a concern they would address it right away!"
