"I saw Dr. White. She listened to my concerns and she looked down my throat with a scope through my nose. I was actually terrified for this. I’d been researching different types of scopes that went through the nose all night before my appointment. Dr. White made the scope easy and was able to tell me I had LPR. I still worry that it’s something worse, of course. I’m sure she knows what she’s talking about and she’s seen many patients with LPR. I found Dr. White to be kind and I enjoyed having her as my doctor."

"I was referred for an external nasal problem. I was surprised that I was referred here as it something more in the realm of dermatology, but I didn’t want to push the issue with the referring NP. I t was during the height of covid, and the physician was wearing a respirator which made her near impossible to understand and may have affected her hearing. I am a nurse, so I always tell the provider that at the onset to avoid time wasting explanations, which is usually appreciated As I stated, the problem was external. She all but refused to even look at or even discuss that issue. But evidently she had some sort of primal need to play inside my nose, despite my protests. She dug. She scraped. She stuck things in and squirrelled around to her heart’s content. It was like my nose was her freaking playground, to the point she said I’d be needing a prescription for antibiotics, which I only take when absolutely necessary. I took them because I wanted to symbolically erase her presence. The whole experience was a waste of my time and the money paid by insurance. But the most annoying and dangerous thing was that she CHOSE not to listen to the patient, which seems to be a trend, especially if the patient is older. She also raced around the room at a dizzying pace, which always makes you think they have somewhere else they’d rather be. I’ll be sure to let my internist know my take on the visit. My nose has never recovered from her playtime. The last thing I needed was another chronic problem. This woman refused to stand down when I told her there was no reason to go inside my nose. I’m sure she’d state that as an ENT she should check out the area - but I continually told her that I did not want her digging inside my nose. Technically, that constitutes assault. She damaged my nose to the point I’m reminded of her assault at least once a day. Sheer arrogance."
