"Refused to rent me a truck unless I was planning on bringing it back to his store, even though he had a lot full. I made an online reservation a week early, in the middle of the month. Then told me to call the next day about a giant truck, way bigger than I needed, and refused to answer the phone or call back, on a weekday."
"The pick up point was great. He was descriptive and kind. The U-haul service, however, was atrocious. The reason I chose U-Haul originally was for convenience. Two days prior to renting the truck, I received a message that my truck will not be at the chosen location. Granted, U-Haul did compensate this by upgrading my truck size. After arriving to the pick up location, the app itself did not function so I called the U-haul 1-800 number. After explaining my issue, I was transferred to "scheduling" which resulted in 7-10 minutes on hold and going to some random guy's voicemail. Once again, I had to call the 1-800 and explain the entire issue again. This employee was able to correctly connect me to the right individual and the truck was subsequently rented. This whole ordeal took well over an hour."
