"I love the location and the people; this is the 2nd time renting from this location and my favorite now. The pick-up process was quick and pretty efficient. The person who helped me check/hitch the trailer used the opportunity to show, apparently, a new employee all the important safety aspects, and he was VERY GOOD, detail-oriented, and had great coaching and training session."

"I was put on hold two times that day. The first time left on hold for over 30 minutes so I hung up. Second time I hung up after almost 10 minutes because I got a stranger to help me at the gas station where I was filling the tank. I also had to send my babysitter to pick up the hand truck I rented that they didn't give me when I got the van. I only recommend because it's a convenient location in Nanuet if you really need a uhaul."

"Van wouldn’t restart or shift to neutral making me lose over 30 mins parked in a bay I was only supposed to use for a short time. I was extremely stressed running around asking everyone for a boost. Even though the van was left running while I unloaded and I knew something else was off. I called the support hot line and they said it could take up to 45 minutes to an hr to get to me. Luckily I popped the hood open while waiting to get a boost and one of the workers checked to see if the battery was loose and it was. Also the gas gauge didn’t work. The employee at the store gave me attitude when I complained saying everything works (not sure why she was so defensive of a 143217k mile van) only to change her tone when she later realized it wasn’t. I think at $1.79 a mile plus renting fees and surcharges and who knows what other fees - having a van in circulation over 100,000 miles is greedy and makes it really uncomfortable to the renter. The gauge pictures was before and after putting in a considerable amount of gas in. It later after the battery ‘reset’ so to speak went up to 3/4 tank."

"Disappointed. We made an appointment to have a hitch installed a couple of weeks ago. I arrived just before the appointment time (i. e., 7am) and checked in at the front counter. I waited outside with my car as instructed. I was there for more than a half hour. Apparently, the hitch installer never showed up to work. I wasn’t given an explanation. The one person who was there had a long line of customers to help out. So, I eventually called the 800 number to cancel my order. Dissatisfied."

"Reserved a truck, when I got there no key had been left in the lockbox where it was supposed to be. Could not get the truck for over an hour, thankfully customer service gave the location of another key. Would recommend calling the store multiple times after you place your reservation to confirm so they don’t forget to leave your vehicle’s key."
