"All the 1-star ratings are valid. The service is beyond bad; you should believe and move on. Rude, slow, opened 45 minutes late, no comment, no apologies, really unprofessional. Rented a small truck, arrived on time, they had no record said they lost my online reservation and it didn't matter cause they had no trucks left. I left to go to U-haul, 2 minutes later they called and said they found a truck. it was filthy dirty, even for a truck. And on and on."

She was laughing because I got into an accident, the girl that works at sears came in and started making fun of a co worker that got into an accident. She said she doesn’t make enough money to be worrying about other employees....rude and unprofessional!"

"So I got to the Budget Nanuet location around 7:20am for a 7:00 reservation that I had booked weeks ago. Could you believe it.. no cars! No cars?!?!? A car rental place with no cars. I had rented from Budget at this location a few weeks before without a problem. I guess it happens, but Budget should look into it to ensure that this doesn't happen again. I'm good with Budget. Hey.. you can't beat the rates and the cars are good. Well I didn't get loud. Guess I could have, but I knew it wasn't the representatives fault. And she had just opened up the shop and had to immediately deal with this nonsense. Btw, I wasn't the only customer there. There were several people. The representative somehow got me a car without a long wait. She did good. Kudos to Bertha. She was excellent."

"Mixed bag here. On previous occasions, I dealt with slow and rude service, and then had to wait for them to prepare a dirty car (they hardly cleaned it, so it was ridiculous that they made me wait for it). On my most recent visit to rent a car, I was the only customer and was treated very well by the agent. It was a quick process, and the car was ready to go. This seems to be a management issue, but it seems to be headed in the right direction. I'd go back!"
