Budget Car Rental

"this place is very nice and great service. they did not have the car which I ordered, they gave me a upgrade for a very good price, the manager was very nice and kind to me 100 % recommending this place.."

"1. Came into the office & it was completely empty, no notice about where anyone was. I just had to wait until they returned from lunch (lunch is fine, leave an away notice) 2. I pre-paid for my car a week ahead of time using my debit card, but BUDGET wouldn't let me GET the car via debit without a credit check, which failed for some reason. There's no mention of a credit check on the reservation page OR confirmation email. I had to dig into location-specific terms & conditions to find this mentioned, and there's no mention of what the credit needs to be (I'm well over 700). I don't have a credit card & they can't take a CC over the phone, so I had to beg a family member to come assist. They had to put their name as the primary driver, add me a secondary driver (additional cost), and put a hold on their credit card in order to let me take the car. THAT WAS ABSOLUTE MADNESS!!! 3. The car was nice. That's the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1."

"Budget no more....I'll find another rental place. They refused to honor the rate I paid for and made us pay nearly double at the counter... "customer service" was a joke and would do nothing to help us. Enterprise, here we come..."

"HORRIBLE experience. "Manager" barely has a brain. Had a reservation for a van, but she couldn't charge my card because they don't have a cc chip reader, and she wouldn't enter the card manually. Left without a van , they charged my credit card $150 for a no-show. Location and manager are equally pathetic. Hope they wake up and fire her and whoever hired her. My full reservation was refunded after I reported them to my credit card."

"This place should be shut down . We went to pick up our rental today and they give us a car that had just been dropped off with inspecting or cleaning it. The associate tried to lie but we saw the guest who had it prior drop it off . There was empty bottles and it was dirty on the inside. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Update: It got worse! Ripped off by this company. We prepaid for a car rental for a week and since we were able to finish our car on time, we returned it 3 days early expecting to get some money back. I got the car at a cheaper rate because I am part of a union and got a discount so the car averaged at about 28.00 per day. When we went to return the car, the customer service representative had no idea how to answer our questions and informed us that he was going to take the car and we would have to contact customer service about any money that was owed to us. When we called customer service we were informed that not only were they not going to return us the portion of the money that we did not use for the rental, but also that because the agent was so clueless at the rental location, he increased our rates so that we could not get a refund and added protection without our acknowledgement. This brought our price even greater than the amount we prepaid for. This thankfully was removed and refunded. We then tried to speak to a supervisor from customer service because at this point we are being robbed for our money. We were informed that a supervisor was not available and that they would have to call us back with 24-48hrs because they were busy helping other customers. We used the car from Tuesday January 30-Saturday February 3 so there is not reason why I should be penalized and have to pay for the additional 3 days because u opted to pay online as opposed to at the counter. Not to mention that we were originally provided with a nasty and unclean car when we picked up the rental . A car that was handed from one customer to another without it being inspected or cleaned. I am still waiting to be contacted by a supervision regarding this issue. I can not believe how disgusting this place is in regards to their buisness and customer service but I can surely see why they have such despicable reviews. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for professionalism and customer service elsewhere. It’s not worth the headache for a few dollars."
