"Went with my bestie to Cornbread and enjoyed the vibes, fresh food and relaxing atmosphere. Alicia immediately greeted and seated us. The chicken was hot and crispy, the cornbread was soft and delicious much better than Sweettea's, without a doubt. We're definitely coming back. Thanks for a wonderful time, Superior customer service and yummy meal. The cornbread video is from Sweettea's Dance video and food photos are from Cornbread's."
"The food and service were excellent! The young lady that took my order was very helpful and friendly. I ordered the catfish meal with greens and candy yams! The fish was cooked to perfection! The food was very flavorful. I felt like I was down south again! Definitely will go back!"
"The cornbread was good. The yams were good. The collard greens were ok (needed more seasoning). The chicken taste like grease, no taste. Macncheese was too watery with no seasoning. I gave 5 stars for service because the lady who took our order was very welcoming, and kind. This Chicken ain't cheap for it to have no taste. Disappointed."
"In case these photos don’t speak for themselves, this food is SO GOOD!!! Really nice staff and our lemonade and sweet tea was great too, exactly what I hoped it would be. We had the fried fish meal (catfish) with potato salad and bbq pork ribs with mac & cheese. The catfish was juicy and amazingly fried, the outside giving the perfect amount of crunch and not overpowering the fish at all! Seriously delicious. Hopefully, you can see that the meat just fell off the bones of the bbq pork ribs and the sauce was so rich. AND the cornbread was awesome!!! Go try it, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed."
"The prices they charge don’t match their menus. If you question it, they will tell you that their prices have changed but some items’ prices are not accurately reflected anywhere in the restaurant. It’s not the customers fault that you failed to update the prices on your menus. Not sure if I came on a bad day, but my party was not greeted when we entered. We stood and waited for 5-7 minutes and still no one said anything to us… it wasn’t until we called someone over to take our order when we were acknowledged and told to wait just a second. Now on to the food.. the Mac and cheese was not good, the sweet tea wasn’t sweet and I had to take it back and get the lemonade which was much better. I will give props on the cornbread and catfish. Those were really good. Overall, wasn’t too pleased with my experience."
