"My friend and I visited this establishment on a Thursday night. The restaurant was busy but we were seated right away. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious. I ordered the ravioli and arugula salad.. it was excellent!! The ambiance was everything. My only regret is that I didn't take pictures. I would definitely visit again!"

"Everything was incredible - the food was outstanding with good portions, it was busy but never too loud or claustrophobic, and the service was great. I went with 6 people and every person loved every single thing they ate. I am still full from my dinner and already trying to figure out when I'll be able to go back! Chef James does an excellent job with creating a wonderful menu, both seasonal and standard, and executing it perfectly."

"Had to share our experience today as the service has left an amazing impression! My boyfriend and I visited tonight on a whim, I got the homemade linguini with seafood which was fantastic and my boyfriend ordered the rainbow trout. Unfortunately his trout was not very impressive and he was spitting out bones after every bite. We usually never bother our waiters but I felt that for the price this was a little disappointing, so we spoke to the waiter. After coming back he let us know that we could either get a new trout or just get the original taken off the bill. We elected to get the meal taken off the bill. Another kind waiter (or perhaps the manager) returned and insisted on us choosing another entree and my boyfriend decided to go with the King Salmon. The Salmon was delicious but even better was the kindness of the staff who had decided to comp us that dish well! We absolutely were ready to pay for our entire meal as the issue had been so swiftly and expertly resolved and we were very impressed with the generosity of the staff. We left a tip amount of the full meal anyway and both left very happy with the gesture and our food!"

"In the heart of Montclair, is this amazing, hidden gem, serving up, some seriously amazing and innovative, dishes! Now it is BYOB, but they have a delivery service which will bring you whatever bottle you would like! I heard they have some of the best pasta around, and everyone was right! I started out with the kale salad with dates, that was fantastic. I ate that along with the homemade bread. Then I had the most amazing ravioli of my life cooked in brown butter and sage literally melted in my mouth! Yum , that was my favorite. A close second was the roasted squash pasta i had, equally as incredible. I also tried a duck tagliatelle, with two sauces. To end it all I had this amazing array of berries with homemade whipped cream! If you haven’t been yet, it’s a perfect spot for date night or to celebrate"

"This place was amazing, and the service was top-notch. The staff did not miss a beat. I felt like I was at a Michelin Star restaurant. Before I could notice anything, the staff was right there. Food was authentic, and you can tell the chef(s) in the back paid attention to every detail when it came to the preparations and presentation of your dish. I can't wait to come again. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful dinner. We had a show that evening it's about 7 min walk from the Wellmont Theater, and like many spots in Montclair, it's byob. There is a liquor store at the next corner."
