"NYC vibe place. High-quality food and creative menus. Service is efficient. It is a bit loud inside. The patio dining is heated in the winter but still cold. Inside is tight seating, so it is not the most intimate of dining experiences."

"De Novo European Pub is a top notch, trendy restaurant with superb staff and food. We started with the grilled octopus and cauliflower for appetizers, and were very pleased with both. We had two orders of tuna and one mushrom pappardelle for the entrees The sauce and seasoning on the tuna and asparagus were phenomenal, and the mushroom pappardelle us a fan favorite for a reason - it's delicious!!! The refurbished train venue provides a delightful dining atmosphere, and everyone loves that the have their own parking lot in Montclair. Highly recommend De Novo European Pub!!!"

"I was in the area with a friend and decided to check out this place. So glad we did! We came in fairly early when the place was just setting up for the night. There were just a handful of customers at the bar, but never did I feel ignored or overlooked. Jorge and Jonathan at the bar were wonderful! The cocktails were fantastic, and they immediately made us feel like long time patrons. Josh the manager was a pleasure. He introduced himself to us and just like Jorge and Jonathan, he too made us feel right at home. He hugged us at the end of the night as we were leaving. The food was spectacular. We had vegetarian risotto and fried calamari. I cannot wait to come back again! Fantastic place and I’m sad I didn’t know about it sooner!"

"This is such a beautiful restaurant with amazing cocktails, amazing food, and amazing service. I immediately felt at home at the bar when I stopped for a quick drink with a friend. George was our bartender who turned out to be a server. Johnathan took over and then Josh the manager stopped and introduced himself. He is the manager since opening. Food was absolutely incredible and they had so many different options the drinks have tons of variety. A quick stop turned out to be an entire fun day affair. Tons of locals come here because the amazing quality. If you have live in Montclair and is not in here. You were totally missing out I love you Morristown and my friend Tammy and Text Siri is young places to go to and we are totally foodies"

"We were there with a bunch of friend and Tatianna took care of us. She is lovely and the service was really fast. The foods are not fantastic, I mean branzino was delicious but I am not craving this restaurant dish after a while, it is an important indication, isn't it? So, all is good but not wow, out of 10 I would say 7, 5. I eat branzino (my fav there), and scallops for my husband. We had calamari, gnocchi (which was tasty), chicken wings (which looked good, but I didn't taste them), and Burrata salad in the middle. As a dessert, Lavander Crème brûlée ( we ordered, u can taste the lavender. It was ok), Panna Cotta ( mostly blueberries and strawberries plate) and pistachio tiramisu ( I don't like tiramisu so no comment) The place is located right next to the train station so don't be shocked when you hear the noise. It's not much disturbing tbh. Might be a plus to the restaurant’s atmosphere."
