Turning Point Dog Training

"I am so glad I went to Paige! I’m sad our sessions have ended, but I already have plans for future classes and training since our puppy is only 5 months. I researched a lot of trainers in the Cleveland area and Turning Point had everything I was looking for. They really build your training based on your dog and what your goals are. We have built such a great foundation early in our dog’s life, and I have learned so many things I never would gotten outside of training. Paige is great and makes training feel doable when it can be overwhelming. I always felt comfortable bringing my questions to Paige without judgment. I have already recommended her to others, as I am so happy with our results. We have gotten compliments from our breeder and vet about how well our puppy is doing. It feels great to have the tools to make your dog the best they can be. If you’re on the fence, do it! It will make your life and your dog’s life better. ETA: we just finished up our first group class and it was a great way to keep Wendy’s training moving forward. It’s such a cost effective way to continue to get help from Paige. It was also beneficial to work around other dogs in a controlled environment where we all have the same goals. Looking forward to the next one! Adding more! We sent Wendy off for her mini board and train while we were on vacation and it was absolutely worth it. Wendy has already formed a lot of good habits through our initial training, but the board and train with Paige really enhanced the work we’ve been doing and she came back an even better dog than before."

"I adopted my 10 month old golden retriever, Ziggy, this past January. As a first time dog owner, I knew that I needed help teaching Ziggy to settle, as well as all of the other basic commands. I was able to finish our 8 week training package with so much confidence and many tools to manage Ziggy. The training sessions were very enjoyable and Anthony’s tips were tailored to my goals for Ziggy. It was fun getting out into the community for training sessions to work towards my goal of taking Ziggy to parks and patios. I went from being nervous to take Ziggy on a walk to now being one of the best parts of my day. He is a completely different dog now and I’m one happy dog owner! "Anthony and his team have been fabulous in helping us with our dogs. They have proven that no situation is too challenging to work through and took us as the owners where we were at. They also worked with our foster pup to make him more ready for a forever home and we are eternally grateful for that. "It has been about 4 weeks now since my dog and I have completed a 3 week board and train with Paige. So many aspects of our day to day routine have improved including my fear of going out on walks in our very busy neighborhood. And of course this all has helped me regain my mental sanity. Aside from general anxious/hyper tendencies, my dog also had a bad experience of being bit, and their very defensive owner which lead to him having some specific reactivity issues. Paige worked hard to encourage that he can feel safe. I can now proudly say that we go on several walks a day, have continued to practice and have fun in busier areas with a variety of “obstacles” and it keeps getting better and better. Paige was very attentive, organized, diligent, and proactive to our needs and beyond. Being fully aware that this process can be overwhelming, Paige was extremely sensitive to this and made sure that me and my family can learn at our own pace, everything was thoroughly communicated and nothing was rushed. On our first follow-up we had time and space for a small off leash activity and it was a great starter to some other goals down the road. I also need to state that this is a community that continues to facilitate pack walks for their clients who finished a training with them and other events. They are all very welcoming, well equipped, informative, and friendly!
