Eyemart Express offers a wide selection of frames and can even make glasses in less than an hour!
At Clear Choice Eye Care, we welcome walk-ins and accept many insurance plans, including CareSource. Our mission is to keep your vision care simple and convenient, while maintaining a high standard of honesty and professionalism. Dr. Michael Thimons is a licensed optometrist who graduated with highest honors from The Ohio State College of Optometry in 2003. He provides comprehensive eye care services, including exams, diagnoses, and treatments for various eye disorders such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Thimons is dedicated to listening to his patients and offering personalized care tailored to their needs.

"I had an appointment scheduled for my 5 year old son to check for a lazy eye and receive a general examination. Firstly, the place is listed under two names (calling the Boardman, Ohio: “Clear Choice Eye Care” connects you to them, so we had no idea where our appointment even was). After my son’s examination I asked Dr. Mike Thimons to explain his prescription to me so that I could order my son glasses. The man was flippant and rude in front of my son - shrugging and telling me that whoever I get my glasses from can explain it to me, instead. I explained that I need to order them online for the price, and he simply shrugged and turned his back to my son and I - rather than answer a simple question regarding the prescriptions he had jotted down on a piece of paper - nearly illegibly. I was ashamed to have to explain to my son that people like Dr. Mike exist in this world, and that we have to try to be better than they are to make up for the negative effect they have on our society. Why on earth would you go into medicine if you don’t care to help people - especially children? What an absolute jerk. His family should be ashamed."
