"Don’t even consider it. I know it has been hard to find specialty care since Covid……this is not worth your money, the wait, or the time. He charges A RIDICULOUS amount of money, but won’t solve your problem. Tried to charge me $380 for the 8 minute over the phone “results” call after his $13k colonoscopy….that he messed up….on my child. He is forgetful, late, hard to understand and then tries to covers up his lack of knowledge with flattery. My daughter was uncomfortable with how often he commented on her looks. I won’t go in because I’m tired of being told that I’m “so pretty.” THE most unprofessional situation I’ve ever been in. Find yourself a real doctor. This guy is awful."

"Dr Mizell himself is kind and informative, but BEWARE if you are self-pay!! After waiting 50 minutes to see him, we had a normal 20-30 min appointment with him where he confirmed my suspicions about my sons condition. No tests, nothing but an in-office consultation. I received a bill for $965.14 from him. (That does NOT include the hospital’s fee!!) After leaving 7 messages (with no return call) I finally reached someone to ask about the charge, assuming there must’ve been a mistake. Nope! That is his standard new patient fee. Dr Mizell charges nearly $2,000/hr to see patients in his office. I’ve never in my life encountered such an exorbitantly overpriced doctor! He should be required to warn patients that he charges 3 1/2 times the going rate of any doctor out there! Absolutely outrageous! Although my son requires ongoing care, we will never go back to Dr Mizell!"
