"Stay far away from this place! They are liars and don’t care. We thought we could trust them. They put on a good front. But they hiring staff that steal from disabled patients. And on dialysis. My mom was staying here and loved it and was going good. Until 10/6 someone stole $340 from her purse. She notified them an immediate excuses after excuses. We filed a police report and tried to do this the right way. I spoke to Chris and he said give me until Monday. I’ve sent this to corporate and look into it. I asked for corporate info and he said you’re better off with me. I was still being polite and said okay. Well today is Monday. I called and I asked for him. The lady puts me on hold. Comes back a says umm in haven’t seen Chris today. But I can transfer you to his voicemail. She sent me to someone voicemail that no longer works for the company. Please keep your loved ones away!! UPDATE: due to my mom leaving. She passed away on 10/30 this place are just murders willing to steal. It’s their fault. She was doing amazing when she was there. And someone stole from her. And she didn’t .feel safe. And they still have not contact me with an update on her money"

"I was a patient at Promise Hospital for approximately 2 months. I absolutely loved this entire facility. Its staff, building and grounds. Everything is designed to lift the spirits as well as the health of the patient. They have a zen Garden in the hospital that I would go out of my way to see everyday when I got up because I like to start my day with beauty to keep my spirit and attitude positive. They have beautiful art everywhere that are professionally framed which also lifted my spirits. The staff was the most cohesive staff I have ever experienced. I have been paralyzed for 38 years now and have seen many hospitals and rehabs and LTAC's and experienced all levels if staff. I was most impressed at Promise because the nurses were not hung up on the hierarchy of their duties. If a nurse was in my room and I needed repositioning, or urine emptied or whatever it may be instead of saying that's a CNA job I will have them come help you they just jumped right in and got it done. Everyone was focused on doing what was right for the patient and they all helped each other out accordingly. Other nurses would come help me if my IV alarm was ringing even though I was not their patient. The CEO of the hospital even came in and helped reposition me one time when he was walking by and saw my call light on. That was the first time in 38 years of medical care that a CEO has ever helped do something like that. I think that speaks volumes to the atmosphere and philosophy that Promise has. I never wanted to leave. If insurance would have paid until my wounds were totally healed I would have chosen to stay there until then. They are so efficient at everything they do it feels a bit like watching a NASCAR pit crew. Everything is a well oiled machine at Promise. So much so it will ruin you for other facilities. I got sent to a rehab right after Promise and if I could have physically ran away and back to promise I would have. When you see for two months how things are supposed to be done you begin expecting that and trusting that you are safe and well taken care of. The first two days at the new facility nobody could give me a straight answer on who was going to help me with colostomy changes as I was trying to prepare ahead of time. They did not have the right supplies at the new hospital and I ended up changing everything myself. I asked a nurse at the new facility to reposition me and she said I can't right now I am passing meds I will get the CNA, in fact just push your call light and the CNA will come. In two months at Promise that never happened except with one nurse one time and she was a PRN nurse and not one of the regular ones. At promise it's about making sure you are healing and all the staff does whatever is necessary to move things in that direction. They have the best woundcare team I have ever worked with. The hospital that sent me to Promise told me I was going to die from my wounds. So much so that I began notifying family and friends. I got to Promise and after evaluating all the information and seeing my wounds they said you are not going to die from these wounds. We have healed much worse. And they were right they did exactly what they said they could do and what they already knew they could do. I loved their confidence based on their experience. They knew when and how to trick my body into healing at a high rate. From the top down Promise is the best hospital I have ever been to and I wish the entire industry would hold themselves to such high standards. It is so disappointing to go somewhere else and see and feel how far short that other facilities are from the standards I got accustomed to for 2 months. I loved my time at Promise and wished I never had to leave. I have never felt that way about a hospital in my entire life. They earned this review as I have high standards and rarely feel people have done everything necessary to get such a review. But, when credit is due then it should be given. Promise has much to be proud of."

"My husband's uncle was sent here and when we first went in we thought it was great. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. We live 7 hours away so we're not able to check on him daily. We soon found out in the short time he was there , his care was less than sub par and he ended up in another hospital in the middle of the night in critical care. When we finally got to see him he begged us not to take him back there. He won't be going back!"

"Our family wanted to publicly thank the administration and entire staff of the Promise Hospital for the outstanding care that they provided to our adult son over a period of 4 months. He was admitted to Promise to recover from very serious pressure sores (Stage 4) and surgery. He has been quadriplegic for 16 years with a spinal cord injury of C-7 so his movement is very restricted. During the 4 months while he was at Promise my wife and I and our son, were deeply appreciative of the CEO, the case manager, nutritionist, the wound care team, entire nursing staff and PT specialist for the compassionate, competent, personable and loving care that he received. We were all treated like family and became friends with many of the staff and hope to keep in touch with them for many years. While additional rehabilitation is still needed, our son has the foundation to rebuild and actually improve the quality of his life, largely from the care he received from Promise. We will always be grateful to Promise and plan to remain friends for life."
