"Don’t get me wrong. Uptown is a wonderful place to shop. The employees are nice, the store is clean. But if you’re looking to sell your clothes, don’t go here, unless you’re uptight about fashion like they are. I went last week to give them some clothes and they said it was a two hour wait and I wasn’t allowed to leave the building, which is ridiculous. So I came back a week later when they weren’t busy. However they looked over my stuff in not even five minutes (I easily had 20-25 items in there) and said they don’t take skinny jeans and everything was too out of date or something like that… and apparently the jeans had an issue with the thighs? What the hell is that supposed to mean? And all they were able to compensate for coming in was 10% off if I were to purchase something. 10% is really, really sad for taking the time to bring all of your clothes and hoping they’d take at least a few items. Anyways, go ahead and shop here, but DONT sell here."
"I love Uptown! I sell and buy clothes from here at least once I month. They have the cutest stuff and the best environment. They are also always having deals and everything is super affordable. They have stuff from a variety of super nice brands! I recommend uptown over any thrift store!!"
"Uptown Cheapskate is literally my shopping weakness! They always have the best brands and cutest outfits for an affordable price. I love being able to find unique clothing items that I wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else for the same price. The employees are so friendly helping me find a dressing room or ringing up my purchases in an efficient manner. I’m always getting compliments on the clothing items I have purchased and I have this store to thank for that! I would recommend this store to anyone of my friends who want stylish clothing for the best prices!"
