"Dr. Kent Abernathy is a very kind, detail oriented doctor and he is caring. My primary care physician was concerned that I may have cancer and referred me to Dr. Abernathy. I was VERY NERVOUS, but Dr. Abernathy was so kind and understanding and took time to explain to me. Before I went back to surgery that he was to perform to help me with my problem and send off what he needed to, to the pathology lab, Dr. Abernathy asked if he could pray with me. That meant so VERY MUCH to my Husband and me!!! Dr. Abernathy is kind, yet very knowledgeable and professional. He did an EXCELLENT job on my surgery and called me immediately when the pathology report came back NO CANCER!! Even though I am an obese, middle aged woman, he showed that HE CARED!!
