"I just bought a delicious looking bowl from Zao. I specifically asked if the noodles were Gluten Free. They spoke to each other in a different language and then told me yes they were. I second guessed them but I got them anyway. The first bite I knew in fact they were NOT gluten free. The language barrier was a little tricky, there were two things I said I didn’t want but I got anyway. Both guys were super sweet BUT with dietary restrictions and in the restaurant business they should be more careful."

"Wonderful and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The food is light and delicious. If you’re looking for healthy, this is the place. You start with a base of white or brown rice, or noodles, then add a protein, and then get to dress up your meal with a variety of vegetables and sauces. Any of the ingredients can be made into a bowl, tacos, soup, or wrap. It’s moderately priced around $9-$10 per serving. Would highly recommend if you’re in the Union Park Avenue area."
