"This place is THE legit place for Indian "tiffins" in the Salt Lake Valley. It's all vegetarian. I lived in Tamil Nadu India for over a year, and every time I go to this place it just takes me right back. Don't expect table service, and you'll have to put your own dishes on the wash rack when you're done. They also don't do "spice level": the food is made legit the way it would normally be at a restaurant in India - spicy, but not overboard. I always leave this place feeling great."

"Very good South indian vegetarian restaurant in valley with wide variety of dosa, uthappam and many more south indian dishes. Weekend thali is a good try. With curries, poori / paratha , rice , sambar, rasam and sweet. Have been visiting this place from couple of years now and the taste is consistent throughout except chutney. They could improve chutney."
"Absolutely excellent vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food option. The food was very authentic from south India and well made without much use of oil. The crew is very courteous and quick to serve hot and fresh food. We enjoy food here at Balaji each time we visit Salt Lake City from Idaho."
