"I eat here probably once a year. The food is always very good, the portions are excellent. Every once in awhile we get an excellent chef, usually though they are a bit lackluster for what we're paying for. They're all right, but sometimes they seem a touch put out, or maybe just bored with their same old tricks. I recommend this place if you don't mind paying a little extra cash, but I would recommend to the restaurant that they work on boosting the excitement level of the chefs."
"We have eaten at this establishment a handful of times over the years. It’s okay to have an off night. But everything was off. Could barely enter the doors, was told 45min wait which slowly turned into 1.5hrs I finally approached the hostess and was told for two it will still be another 15min. We were called to be seated, the manager and hostess decided they would try to make us wait for another table as she called too many people to be seated. I immediately called the manager closer to me and explained how long we’d waited, she decided to allow us to be seated. Once at our table our server seemed bothered and in a rush, as soon as the food was plated she asked if we wanted to go boxes. Brought our appetizers after the meal was served and our ice cream also which we were not ready for we had only eaten maybe 5 bites of our meal. We had to ask for refills etc… the whole experience has changed over the years, take your 100+ dollars elsewhere for date night! My husband was born in Japan and speaks both Japanese and mandarin. We overheard several rude remarks about customers being made by the managers. The women in red shirts."
"Filet Mignon was soft and chewy. Chef Thuong was friendly, funny and professional. We were very happy to be served by him. He cooked the food well as requested and perfectly seasoned. Will definitely return. We have had a great night."
