La Hacienda South Jordan

"Great little Mexican restaurant in the corner of the District in South Jordan. Clean and spacious .. I was seated in a booth right away. My server quickly brought chips and salsa .. which were tasty but nothing special. Service was prompt. Good was served hot and fresh. The enchilada sauce was delicious. The ground beef chimichanga was exceptionally good .. the beef and been seared which gave it an extra kick. I would visit this establishment again if in the area."

"We walked in and got seated, but our server, Estefany, walked past us to the other tables multiple times and ignored us. We were ready to order our food when she took our drink order but she didn’t want to take our order yet. She walked past us several more times and completely ignored us. Then once we did order, she misunderstood one of our meals and wrote it down wrong. When they brought our food, one meal was not what we ordered, and the server proceeded to show another server that we were wrong because she had written something else down, right in front of us. So rude! They did still fix it and bring out the correct meal. The food was great as usual! But when the check came, we were charged for the wrong meal and the right one. So I was examining the check to make sure it was correct and our server was watching me like she had charged us for both meals on purpose and hoped I wouldn’t even look at the check and just pay for both. When she realized I was examining it closely, she acted like she just realized she had rung it up wrong and fixed the check without me mentioning it, so obviously she knew she’d done it on purpose. She was just absolutely, passively rude and negligent throughout the whole experience. Worst customer service ever."

"This is one of our families favorite restaurants. It is very authentic. The chips and salsa is very good. The portions are very generous. I love their tortillas that come with the fajitas. I wish they had black beans to substitute for the refried beans. Staff is generally friendly as well."
