"Well, Eagle Mountain steps into the big leagues with a real sit-down restaurant with the arrival of Taqueria 27. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to a very quiet place (Saturday after Thanksgiving doesn't seem like a huge draw for any eating establishment other than drive-thrus). We were immediately seated and were waited on by the front of house manager, JC. She's an absolute delight and her recommendations were spot on. We went with the sampler appetizer platter and boy did it fit the bill. There's a smokiness that is infused into each of the items (the street corn and verde salsa were bangers, and the queso was right up there). The chips were crispy and held up well in order to hold the street corn, etc. The hot sauces are nice, too. Ask for all three. I went with the red Chile steak and egg tacos off the brunch menu and my wife got the citrus carnitas tacos. I enjoyed my tacos very much. Plenty of flavor, fluffy eggs, and not drowning in cheese. And again, that smokiness. It packs a subtle punch in every bite. This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood since Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs are basically nothing but drive-thrus or fast casual, "get in, get out" places. If you're lucky enough to meet JC, you're in for a great service too."

"ORIGINAL REVIEW: Went Friday 10/6. They are still working out the kinks of having a new business, but I think this place will be great! UPDATED REVIEW: went 11/16 to give them the benefit of the doubt… Queso dip was flavorless, carne asada enchiladas were cold (not even warm enough to melt the cheese inside) as were the beans. Tortilla chips tasted as if they were from a bag. But as a plus, the Server was polite and attentive. It is nice to have restaurants in EM vs having to go to Redwood Rd, but not worth the disappointment for the price. My Review=My Opinion May not reflect your experience"

"We are excited to have a new taco place nearby. Restrooms were clean, as well as our dining area. The prices are higher than other taco places, and portions are some of the smallest, I've experienced, however the food is great. The tortillas have amazing corn flavor. The nachos and tacos were tender and flavorful. The general manager brought us some hot sauces for us to try, which was nice. The hottest one was still medium heat, my daughter easily handled it. Our server was new, and she tried her best. She had a lot of tables signed to her, and was working hard. I wish the best of luck to this restaurant it's got a lot of potential."

"Finally Eagle Mountain has a sit down restaurant and how lucky we are that it’s this place. We came here for lunch and was not disappointed! First we started off with the street corn app and chips which was absolutely delicious. Tangy and sweet corn paired well with the chips. As for the main courses, we had the enchiladas and the Fish of the day tacos. Both dishes were extremely tasty, full of flavor and hit the spot. All of their tacos and enchiladas sound delicious so I’m excited to come back again to try more."

"Maybe I've just had too much really good Mexican food and am now a snob. But what I had here I wouldn't recommend to anyone. We walked in and were greeted with a sparsely decorated, but clean restaurant. It's a stark contrast to any of my favorite Mexican restaurants which typically have waaay to many decorations. At the same time the music we were greeted with was loud country music. The kind of music you'd expect to find in a Texas Roadhouse, not a Taco place. We started off with one of their sampler starter dishes that had guacamole cheese salsa and Mexican corn. It was pretty good, a little pricey for what you're getting, but not bad at all. The chips were crunchy and salty and tasted great. Sadly this is where the goodness ends.... Along with those chips they served as tortillas wrapped in tin foil. I guess they expected me to take the liquid salsa (it wasn't chunky), stringy fondue cheese, Mexican corn, and guacamole - toss them all into that tortilla and eat it. I didn't because that would be a very strange taco, but instead decided to eat the tortillas. Maybe they always served tortillas with the chips, I don't know. That first bite of tortilla let me know that this was not going to be a great experience. You can judge how good a Mexican restaurant is by their tortillas and their meat. At my favorite Mexican restaurants, I would gladly eat five tortillas without blinking an eye. The tortillas here were gummy chewy and tasteless. I'm pretty sure they're just store-bought that they browned a little bit on a pan. The food came pretty quick, and it all looked really good. But as you started to bite into it there were some oddities. First off we got a kids simple chicken taco, and it was surprisingly tasteless. Now this may have been a conscious decision on their part. Having tasteless chicken for kids and sure that they probably won't complain about their meal. That being said it was tasteless and my child did not like it. I got a couple of asado tacos, and you know that asado taco is good when you can take a piece of meat, eat it, and enjoy. I couldn't do this here. The meat was tasteless and tough. The third dish we got was an enchilada, which probably should have been called a quesadilla with how little there were inside of them. Again the meat was tasteless. But they're red enchilada sauce was oddly powdery. This is a very weird way to explain the sauce but I'm not sure how else to put it. It was a normal red sauce it had a consistency that you'd expect, but the taste was oddly powdery and not good. Even the rice was tasteless. Don't waste your time or money, go to the food truck just outside or Jurassic Taco that's barely 2 walking minutes away."
