"All of the staff provide compassionate care for my mother inlaw's 11 days. While all the staff were wonderful, the nurses at the Oklahoma Heart Institute were the best! My mother in-law passed away after those 11 days but it was her time. Her body just stopped functioning. The nurses were particularly understanding on keeping mom comfortable and the family informed of her journey. Thank you Hillcrest for providing such great care!"

"I was recently admitted to the Oklahoma Heart Institute Hospital on the main Hillcrest Hospital campus. Without a doubt it was the best hospital experience I could have had (and I have had plenty!). Everyone took their time to explain why and how my treatments and procedures would occur. The nursing team was very knowledgeable and took pains to assure and calm me at every step. Every one was attentive and very caring. Several staff would casually pop their heads in just to check on me. I genuinely felt well cared for but more importantly was treated as a person not a job. Thank you all!!"

"I accompanied my mom for her mammogram. We entered the parking garage from the 11th Street entrance. The garage was somewhat clean but has several large spider webs. The spiders were very scary looking. As you can see from the pictures, the place is nice, clean, and has high backed chairs - good for snoozing. Her appointment was at 1 p.m., and it took an hour. She also got an ultrasound as well. She said they were thorough, but the young tech didn't know what to do. They had to do the mammogram 2x's. The rest rooms were clean but needed maintenance. The stalls didn't have anywhere to hang your purse. And some of the toilet seats were broken. It is an old hospital servicing Tulsa for over 40 years. The building has been updated, but some parts need further work. It's not a bad place. It just needs some attention."
