"Amazing experience with Element Knife Company! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and kindly shares information. He's a former chef, and was kind to take the time to help us understand the difference between sharpening and honing as we were on our journey for new knives. When we determined we were ready to purchase, he was insanely patient as I tried every.single.knife. on his shelf to see how it felt. While having great knives is an investment, the ones that we purchased have been amazing. They also do sharpening, and it is incredibly fast. After buying such expensive knives (from the store), it is great to be able to take them somewhere that I know will handle them properly. Also, they sharpen knives that were not purchased at their store. It feels like driving a Ferrari in the kitchen after my knives come back from them. Love this story! Highly recommend!"
"Elan has set up an amazing shop here and runs it masterfully. I came in today in a bit of a rush looking for a gift for a friend. I told elan what i was looking for, gyuto, at least 200mm, around $150. He showed me at least 5 different knives in or around the budget and explained the different materials. Let me try them all out, it was a fantastic experience. He also gift wrapped it for me and did a beautiful job. Incredible selection and service, i will go no where else for my kitchen cutlery needs."
