"Old white lady was so rude and racist to a poor boy trying to do the right thing and pay for a large toy robot and was loudly accused of taking it out of a bag that was supposed to have the price listed on it. First of all, my husband and I look at every toy section in thrift stores since we collect retro toys. NONE of the large plastic toys were in bags. Second this woman was screaming at this boy whom I guess was around 8 years old in front of a large crowed tonthe point of tears. The arc security guard had to step up for this poor kid. Wonder the people in front of us finished purchasing their things she rounded on them accusing them of skipping the second checkout stand. Avoid this location. It truly makes me sad to see an old place of fond memories with my grandmother turn into such an unwelcome place."
"I was in here last week, and found a bunch of really good clothes. Always something helpful in housewares, always a good choice available, but this visit really stood out. I had Arc coupons, a gift, and the bill came to 4 cents over the coupons, that gracious and kind cashier lady put her own change in so I wouldn't have to break another coupon (if your purchase with coupons leaves a balance, you Cannot get the cash back!!). So that sweet woman didn't want me to lose $4.96, dipped into her own pocket. Holy Smokes, that's awesome, beyond customer service and I will say that always, it was totally a gift generous beyond 4 cents. Kind and helpful. Never expected such a thoughtful gesture when everyone is having a hard time."
