"I hired Arvada Appliance to fix my dishwasher in February. The repairman was looking at YouTube videos and posts online about troubleshooting and generally did not seem to have much experience fixing dishwashers. He installed a new part that did not fix the issue. I had to pay the trip charge and repair fee upfront and was assured I would receive the refund for the repair fee. I did not receive the refund after a week and called in to inquire about the refund. I was told only the manager or owner could refund me the money and they would call me back. I never received a call back and called again several times over the course of 3 weeks, receiving the same answer over and over that the owner or manager was busy. Nobody ever attempted to call me back. I was on hold each time I called, sometimes for up to 20 minutes. My wife finally go ahold of the manager 3 weeks after our failed repair (once again was on hold for 15-20 minutes) and finally issued a refund for the repair. There was no attempt to ask how they could make it right or to give a discount on my trip charge. I have never tried so hard to get money back that I was owed from a local business. They lost my business for life and I definitely do not recommend doing business here."

"It would have been 5 stars, but here I am on the date scheduled for delivery and they called to reschedule for tomorrow, now this wouldn't have been a problem, except for the following. The excuse of the weather, and that it's just not that safe to do deliveries when I'm literally looking out my window at roads that don't even have slush on them. Which fine, I could let that one go... but what makes this worse is, my delivery time was scheduled between 9 am and 12 pm. No one bothered to call me till 10:26 am to tell me about this. That's 1.5 hours after my delivery time window began. So I have been sitting here waiting for an hour and a half for a dishwasher that's not coming, and in all likelihood they knew at opening (which is 8 am) they weren't going to be doing deliveries today. I could have moved on to other things this morning instead of having my time wasted on an appliance that will not be coming till tomorrow. At this point I am not impressed and will likely not be doing business with arvada appliance in the future."

"I placed an order over the phone with Brad, who was helpful identifying a product and charging my credit card over the phone. All communication and customer service stopped after that day. I was told the appliance was in stock and ready to install within 2 days. After more than a week passed without any communication or responses to my calls or messages, I have initiated a charge back with my credit card company. Reading other reviews it appears they are uncooperative issuing refunds, so I'm letting my credit card company take care of it. I have zero tolerance for unprofessional communication. If I can't get a simple response or follow-through on scheduling an installation, I have no trust that the work will be done right or that I'll get quality warranty service."

"After 2 visits Arvada Appliance (Bob and Brad) our stove is still broken and now has a new issue that is causing a power short in our kitchen. “I’m going to teach you a lesson” - Brad in response to my wife requesting a refund. When I called to defend my wife and get our money back I was told “why don’t you come down here to the store and see what happens to you.” Customer service was equally as bad as the work."

"I have a fridge that's breaking down, and Arvada Appliance is working with my apartment management company on repair. They seem very responsive and I'm looking forward to this all being over soon! I'm writing because Brie, the girl in the office, is an absolute angel! She's on top of things, and exceptionally patient. I haven't had this high quality of customer service in ages. She's a real keeper!"
