"I am just horrified by how negligent this company is. I normally have a very positive view of this company but I was put in a life threatening and property damaging situation tonight. Their property despite supposedly being closed allowed me inside where I had to haphazardly back up to get out. I had to fully hit the gas while going backwards because the snow was so deep. I almost hit the wall and gate. This was deeply upsetting. I had an actual panic attack because I was scared that I was going to hit someone. I then almost went into traffic. I could have t boned someone if been tboned. I called customer care and they said that they could do nothing for me and hung up me. In my opinion if you pur your guests in a life threatening situation you should fix the problem. I had to risk my life and sit in the car because my fur child was in the car with me. I ended up calling the police but my engine might have damage. The officer had to monitor traffic and three men had to help me get out. I understand not being able to get someone to plow your drive but if you care about our well being it's a companies job and duty to lick the gates or put signage up. If my car breaks down my family and I lose out. We had no money for a tow. I'm still almost having another panic attack because I'm so upset."

She was very understanding about a payment that was mailed and, as of yet, has not arrived. I'm deeply appreciative of her kindness. Thank you Geraldine ~ God Bless!"

"The letter that I received about the sale of Life Storage to Extra Space Storage had two phone numbers, neither of them were answered. A call to Extra Space Storage’s 1-800 number got me connected with the local office. The ladies in the local office were great and answered all of my questions. The lock on my unit had been replaced because they had removed a hornet’s nest inside the door. They had me fill out a new lease, which was less than the old lease, and they gave me my new key and access codes. Again, the local office was very helpful."
