About the Business

A-Line DIA, located at 617 Terminal Road in Denver, Colorado, is an institution that provides convenient bus and rail services to the Denver Metro Area. RTD, the Regional Transportation District, is working on a downtown light rail reconstruction project to ensure the long-term integrity of its oldest rail infrastructure. The project will be completed in four phases, with the first phase starting in May 2024. RTD is also leading a pilot project that integrates trip planning and fare payment with mobility partners in the Denver region through the Transit app. Additionally, RTD values the skills and service of military veterans and encourages them to join their team. "Escalators under the Westin bring you up to the airport level 5. There is also an elevator. Trains stop outside of the Westin."

"The A line is a great way to get to and from the airport. The part that is so incredibly disappointing is all the homeless camps with the piles and piles and piles of trash along this route that Denver allows to happen. We have thousands of visitors to Denver that ride the A line and this is the first impression of Denver that they get. In no way does this go against the RTD A line, but the lack of leadership in Denver."

"This train line should have been in operation on the day that DIA first opened, as it is unconscionable to have an airport so far from the city it serves with inadequate access by public transportation. The service of the A Line is improving, but it still runs too infrequently, and the light rail schedules at Union Station do not align well with the A Line schedule. This results in either running to catch a connection, or waiting a long time because of a barely missed connection."
